Visuals 2

I have been so busy this week, friends. How about you? I'm also super excited about "A Desperate Love" coming out! As we get closer to the release, I've been thinking about how crazy this journey has been. Did you know that I originally wrote the entire thing out with pencil and paper? The Entire Thing! Who does that? Me, apparently! Most recently I've been doing my editing amid construction noise.  This process has included, but has not been limited to, writing in my dining room within reach of a basketball hoop, saving money for a year to buy my Chrome Book, learning how to market myself online, typing for hours , going into work on my days off to type . . . etc., etc. Honestly, it is a story in itself! And now, I present to you, more pictures from my Desperate Love Pinterest board. These are a few of the pictures I used to inspire me and to keep me focused on what I had in mind. How I envision Lady Olivia. How I envi...

Ode to the Dandelion

Recently I have been in some sort of weird spring cleaning mode. I moved my bookcase and found a number of books with random papers in them. One of them contained a poem I had thought I threw away a long time ago! Oddly enough, I had been thinking about said poem. It reads a little like a children's book, but here it is. Enjoy! 😁 The Ode to the Dandelion One little lone dandelion, standing in the grass. One little lone  dandelion, holding strong and fast. One little bald dandelion, the last one in his spot. One little bald dandelion, no more fuzz upon his top. One little brave dandelion, who wasn't mowed away. One little brave dandelion,  for now my friend, you'll stay.      ***In other news, the editing baton has once again been passed. We get closer every day, friends. I don't know whether to be excited or scared, but here we go! Love always, JšŸ’™

Sofi Snow series

Any of you that have followed me for long know that I'm a huge Mary Weber fan! I can never get enough of the Storm Siren trilogy, its imaginative fantasy world, and the heart-capturing characters. In fact, I am close to finishing the second book for the third time.      I recently finished "Reclaiming Shilo Snow," the second book in the Sofi Snow duology. And while I don't normally read Science Fiction, I do like the occasional Sci-Fy book or movie (i.e. "Independence Day," "Men In Black," and "Jurassic Park" to name a few).       *Side note: These books are what I like to call "gritty". I love a little grit! Mary does an excellent job of balancing heavy topics with heart and hope. However, if you have younger teens, you might want to explore the book further before reading.        Sofi Snow and her brother Shilo are gamers in what's known as the "Fan Fights," a virtual game that's watch...
